Mike Goyette - Guitar, Andrew Lamarche - Drums, Sal -

Leslie Howe (front) - Guitar,Tim Dupont - Bass
Crunching, driving guitars, power-pop
rhythms, and vocals with an attitude pack a wallop that shouts "PAY
ATTENTION!" to Sal's Birdland.
Brash, thoughtful, and sarcastic, Sal and the boys
dive deep into the stylistic, dark, and doubtful areas of modern
"relationships."
Discovery's first foray into "alternative rock,"
this music is the setting for staking out some tough-minded, bruising
turf in the battles of love and life.
"...catchy and amusing...Full-on alternapop with healthy
stylistic tradition and a twisted sense of humor."
"...Combine hard hitting reality checks with infectious,
unavoidable hooks."

News - May 1997
We just signed to Interscope Records in the U.S. for our new album "Melt." The release date for the album is going to be sometime in June or July in the U.S. and will probably be released in Canada and other parts of the world soon after.
Plans are that we're going to be shooting a video sometime in May for the first single -- "Sick & Beautiful," -- and then start touring the states once the album is released. The biggest news is that we have changed our name to Artificial Joy Club.
